Frequently asked questions
How do I open an XML file?
Choose the file in the box above or drag it onto it. The XML is read in your browser and shown as a tree, with nothing to install.
Can I see the content of an NF-e XML?
Yes, you can browse every field of the NF-e XML (issuer, recipient, items, taxes, access key). This tool shows the structure and data of the XML; it doesn't generate the DANFE PDF.
Is the XML sent to any server?
No. Reading happens in your browser and the file never goes through our servers.
How do I know if my XML is malformed?
When you open it, the tool tries to parse the XML. If there's an unclosed tag or an invalid character, it shows the error found. It checks that the XML is well formed; it doesn't validate against a schema (XSD).
Does it work with large XML?
Large text files are loaded into the browser's memory, with a limit of 60 MB. Above that, the tool warns you.
